- Advise on Lack of heat
- Found that coolant level is low. Started with a pressure test to confirm that there are no leaks in the coolant system. At this time there are no leaks to be found. Performed a block test after the pressure test, and found that there is a failure between the Cylinder head and the block. Recommend tear down at this time.
- Removed intake, both valve covers, timing chain cover, took off timing chain, removed camshafts, disconnected exhaust manifolds, and removed cylinder heads. Found that Cylinder head gasket has failed, and could see marks on the head and the gasket of where coolant and oil were mixing. Sent head to machine shop to have it inspected. Inspection came out that cylinder head is good and only needs to have valve stem seals installed, heads be cleaned, and resurfaced. Found during tear down that spark plugs have been coated in coolant and have failed. Recommend replacing cylinder head gaskets, spark plugs, thermostat, radiator cap, and all applicable components. Customer informed advisor that radiator cap is brand new and that does not need to be replaced. Recommended at this time to have timing chain replaced and to have water pump replaced as they are already out and would require very little labor at this time. Customer declines timing chains and water pump at this time, but requests all other work to be performed.
- CYLINDER HEAD GASKET- Replace – Both

- Radiator – Remove and Replace
- Tested for lightening bolt, checked for power and ground at pedal, found that it did not have continuity, traced wires to throttle body and also found no continuity. Traced wires to main wire harness being corroded. Found that the lightening bolt was on because of corroded wires located on the wire harness. Repaired the wire harness, wrapped the wire harness, cleaned connectors, reconnected connectors, test drove vehicle. No lightening bolt at this time.
