- 66 Point Vehicle Inspection
- Performed Prescan, Found Codes: P0068, P015A, P015C, P0430, and P2099. Recommend starting with stage one test
- Performed test, found Mass air flow sensor has an internal Fault. Also found codes for a Running Rich Codes, this could be due to a bad mass air flow sensor, this could be due to a vacuum leak. Recommend replacement of Mass air flow sensor, and then readvise for possible additionals. If there is a vacuum leak, a smoke test may be required.
- MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR – Remove & Replace – w/Air Temp Sensor
- Smoke Tested system for the Rich Codes, and found that the System does not have any leaks. Then Checked Catalytic converters using temperature Gun and found that inlet temperature is significally higher than the outlet temperature of the Catalytic converter not allowing exhaust gasses to flow, causing excessive back pressure inside of engine, and rough running conditions. recommend replacement Catalytic Converts with o2 sensors.
